Please read this policy carefully before making any payment.
By registering for any driving lesson, lesson package, road test package, mock road test, classroom training, online coaching, Class 5/7 (L & N), Class 4 Restricted, or Class 4 Unrestricted program, and by making payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and conditions.
These policies are designed to ensure fairness to all students and to allow GLT Driving Academy Northshore to effectively manage instructor schedules, vehicle availability, and ICBC road test bookings.

1. Payment Policy
- Full payment, plus applicable taxes, is required before booking any:
- Class 5/7 (L & N) driving lesson
- Class 4 Restricted training
- Class 4 Unrestricted training
- Lesson package
- Road Test Package
- Mock Road Test
- Classroom Training
- Online Coaching
- Any other GLT Driving Academy training program

2. Refund Policy
- Single lessons for Class 5/7, Class 4 Restricted, and Class 4 Unrestricted are non-refundable once booked or confirmed.
- Completed lessons, lesson packages, road test packages, mock road tests, classroom training, online coaching, and all other GLT training programs are non-refundable.
- Students who voluntarily discontinue a package before completion may be eligible for a refund of 25% of the unused prepaid package value, subject to management approval.
- The 25-Lesson Package is non-refundable and non-transferable.

3. No-Show Policy
- Students who fail to attend a scheduled lesson, road test, mock road test, classroom training, or online coaching session without prior notice will forfeit that session.
- No refund, credit, or replacement lesson will be provided for missed appointments.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
- A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule any confirmed lesson or training session.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in:
- A $100 late cancellation fee, and
- The scheduled lesson or training session being forfeited.
- Rescheduling a confirmed lesson is subject to a $140 rescheduling fee.
- Students are responsible for attending all scheduled appointments. Instructors are not required to send reminder calls or text messages.

5. Road Test Booking Policy
- Students must provide at least 72 hours’ notice to cancel a road test booked by GLT Driving Academy.
- Failure to provide the required notice may result in:
- A $25 ICBC cancellation fee (where applicable), and
- Loss of any prepaid road test booking fees.
- If a confirmed road test is canceled by the student, prepaid fees are non-refundable.
- Standby road tests are subject to:
- Applicable parking fees, and
- A $100 per hour standby fee.

6. Package Expiry
- Lesson packages containing 6 lessons or more must be completed within 60 daysfrom the purchase date or first lesson, whichever comes first.
- Packages containing fewer than 6 lessons must be completed within 30 days.
- The 25-Lesson Package must be completed within 6 months of purchase.

7. Transfer Policy
The following are non-transferable:
- Single lessons
- Lesson packages
- Road Test Packages
- Mock Road Tests
- Class 4 Restricted training
- Class 4 Unrestricted training
- Classroom Training
- Online Coaching
- Gift Certificates
- Any other GLT Driving Academy training program

8. Abandoned Lessons
If a student fails to contact GLT Driving Academy Northshore for an extended period, the school reserves the right to consider any remaining lessons or package as abandoned, with no refund, transfer, or credit.

9. General Terms
- Mock Road Tests are 1 hour in duration unless otherwise stated.
- Prices, lesson packages, and policies are subject to change without prior notice.
- GLT Driving Academy Northshore reserves the right to refuse service to any student who violates school policies or behaves in an unsafe, abusive, or disrespectful manner toward instructors, staff, or other students.
